Channel Intelligence and Miva 5
Created a Miva Merchant 5 custom module to integrate Channel Intelligence into a retail web site based on the Miva Merchant product. (Channel Intelligence is a service that allows retailers to track leads from other web sites.) The challenge to writing this module was the fact that Miva supplies little useful documentation about a product that has several layers of scripting languages and interfaces, and no example at all of a working Merchant 5 component. The module had to be created by trial an error through piecing together spotty API information, third-party samples, etc. I also had to set up a developement environment in Linux for compiling and running MivaScript code during testing.
