cronw.sourceforge.net: CRONw - CRON for Windows is one of many implementations of UNIX's Cron scheduler for Windows. The base code was originally from my book Automating Windows With Perl, which was released into the public domain, and turned into an open source project.
sourceforge.net/projects/deeppacketads: Mess With Charter Deep Packet Advertisin[g] is a research program I created when the ISP Charter announced it would begin violating the privacy of its users to sell personal information on HTTP traffic to a third-party advertiser. The program reads keywords (like the system dictionary) and does Google searches, and retrieves the first page of results. With a lot of random, "noisy" HTTP traffic, Charter and its third parties will have difficulty knowing what is real HTTP traffic and what is a decoy. This project is a research project and proof-of-concept to stimulate the discussion of the issues surrounding this issue.
